In 2023, there will be approximately 20 Art Biennales that vary in size. The “Embassy Project” is a platform that invites these Biennales to have their own embassy in Momentum12. Tenthaus´ practice is about making bonds, this extends into the Embassy project; creating a web of connections into an ecosystem of practice and knowledge exchange, and establishing a beginning for future opportunities of collaboration. Each Biennale is invited to share a glimpse of their process, project, or practice with the Momentum biennale. We are connecting research- and interest fields, as well as building relationships between both the structural and curatorial teams of the biennales, by inviting partners from both sides to exchange experiences in a variety of formats. The exchanges can take multiple forms: an audio clip from the biennale, live stream event, or conversations, broadcast via our radio and text, to name a few examples. These beginnings will ripple beyond the duration of the biennales, towards a sustainable way of working together: glocally.
